碩士 === 東海大學 === 景觀學系 === 96 === abstract Taiwan pays much attention to the ecological environment in recent years, setting up the ecological pond is the the focal point of landscape design. It needs to dispose diversified hydrophyte to set the ecological pond, therefore we need to set up the database of the hydrophyte that Taiwan produces, and other databases needed while applying to the landscape design. So we use this investigation to understand the kinds of hydrophyte, hydrophyte type, environment adaptability, cultural method, propagation techniques and easy degree, ornamental characteristic, water quality purification function, etc. The main research methods of this investigation includes literature collection, field survey, and interview. There subjects of investigation and interview are those hydrophyte sellers who produces in Taiwan and cultivates and propagates the nursery. Expected the investigation can provide the ecology pond and the water scenery the design reference.
