Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業工程與經營資訊學系 === 96 === Because the physician manpower training is not easy but time-consuming and the physician is also the main medical employee affecting the medical quality most directly, the physician manpower planning is always a key point in the training project of medical manpower in our national health-care facilities. If the physician manpower is excess, according to the domestic or foreign researches, it will cause the supply-induced demand and then may directly increase the total medical costs of our country. So how to equilibrate the supply and demand of the physician is quite important. Generalizing from the past researches about the physician manpower, we find that the main research project includes three parts. First are about the analysis of the present physician manpower and the calculation of the future quantity. Second is about distribution of the different specialized department and third is about geographic distribution. In Taiwan, the national health insurance came into effect formally in 1995, but since the related pay way is designed with no entirely concerning about the service quality of different specialized department, it has affected the manpower structure in Taiwan quite greatly under the economical motivation. Since there are few researches concerning about the equilibrium between the supply and demand of physician manpower in the past, we take it as our research object and hope the final conclusions and results of this research may provide useful references for Taiwan health-care facility to plan the physician manpower strategy and for the hospital manpower management to plan the doctor manpower to prevent the excess physician manpower from increasing the loading of the medical facility or the insufficient physician manpower from offer incomplete medical services to the patients.
