The advantages of enterprise competition come from whether can deal with the integration in the environment changes or the reorganization of value activity; make use of Co-opetition relationship to look for the efficient business strategy.
Because the system didn't attain perfect, the small water meter industry had been very competitive earlier on. Along with the promotion of Weights and Measures Act, this industry has gradually formed oligopoly situation. Therefore, this research collects the price history of small water meter industry and the operation evolution to analyze the development trend and structure characteristic. The competitive strategy, value chain management, transaction cost theory and competition-cooperation strategy are discussed in order to understand the business strategy of oligopoly firms. This research will match the method of a case study, according to examine the relationship between the behavior of the competitive price and business strategy. The purposes of this research include:
(1) Studying the industry management strategy.
(2) Studying the evolution process of indusyry value chain.
(3) analyzing the industry co-competition relationship.
(4) drawing up the industrial management strategy.
