Description
Summary:碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 96 === In the latest years, several large road tunnels have been constructed in Taiwan. However, the major safety problems which have to be solved in long tunnels are vehicle speed monitoring, safety distance between vehicles, lane monitoring, broken cars, cars burning, explosion, lacking of oxygen, carbon monoxide poisoning, and damages of tunnel structures. In order to prevent and reduce the damages, we have to immediately detect the variation of the driving condition and the driving environment in the long tunnels. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology has the characteristic of identifying vehicles and tracking the paths of vehicles. This article focuses on the RFID technology that can be used in the long tunnel safety monitoring system. The proposed system can analyze the driving condition information instantly and help us to monitor the vehicle speed, safety distance between vehicles, lane monitoring, and broken cars. The system will combine the controllable vision and the announcement system to provide a real-time monitoring process. When a car accident happens, the system can provide the correct vehicle information to the police such that it will reduce the damages due to the insufficiency of human resources.
