The past studies for teachers’ innovation teaching in Taiwan usually focused on the relationships of innovative personal characters, school leaders’ behaviors, personal internal incentive and innovation teaching. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between teachers’ playfulness and innovative climate in school organization. Besides, the moderating effect of innovative climate in school organization to teachers’ playfulness and creative teaching behaviors was discussed. Participated by the 651 teachers of junior high schools in Pingtung, the questionnaires of Teachers’ Playfulness, Innovative Climate in School Organization and Creative Teaching Behaviors were used. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, T-test analysis, one-way ANOVA analysis, MANOVA analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1.The creative teaching behaviors of junior high school teachers were at middle level. 2.The differences in sex, age and position of teachers have significant differences in creative teaching behaviors. 3.The playfulness of junior high school teachers were at middle level. 4.The differences in sex, marriage, age, experience of teaching, school types and the scale of school have significant differences in teachers’ playfulness. 5.There was positive correlation between teachers’ playfulness and creative teaching behaviors. 6.There was positive correlation between innovative climate in school organization and creative teaching behaviors. However, “lower organizational obstacle” has negative correlation with “varied teaching and challenge providing” of creative teaching behaviors. 7.The moderating effect of innovative climate in school organization to teachers’ playfulness and innovation teaching behaviors only had significance in “varied teaching and challenge providing”.
