Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 幼兒保育學系 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to investigate about the language sample characteristic of the children with hearing impairment who daily interact with their peers and the adults. There were 11 children with hearing impairmentwith oral ability whose ages ranged from 4.5-yesr-old to 6.5-year-old in this study. The researcher got the language samples by recording from four natural situations which were the desert-dining time, the free time, the moving-connection time, and the parents-children-interaction time. Then the researcher adopted the language material processing formula devised by Sher, Y. J. to calculate the distribution of the mean length of utterance (MLU), total number of words (TNW), number of different words (NDW), and type-token ratio (TTR), and with repeated measures analysis of variance to test the significant differrences under the four natural situations, at last the Scheffe's method was used to make the post-hoc comparison for understanding the differences. The results of this study were revealed as follow :
.The children with hearing impairment displayed the best MLU on the parents-children-interaction time then other three natural situations, and the next were "the free time", "the desert-dining time", and "the moving-connection time". MLU of the four natural situations showed the significant differences, after comparison, the parents-children-interaction time was better than the moving-connection time.
.The children with hearing impairment displayed the best TNW on the parents-children-interaction time then other three natural situations, and the next were "the free time", "the desert-dining time", and "the moving-connection time". TNW of the four natural situations showed the significant differences, after comparison, the parents-children-interaction time was better than the desert-dining time, the moving-connection time, and the free time was better than the moving-connection time.
.The children with hearing impairment displayed the best NDW on theparents-children-interaction time then other three natural situations, and the next were "the free time", "the moving-connection time", and "the desert-dining time". NDW showed significant difference under the four natural situations but it showed no significant differrence after Scheffe's method.
.The children with hearing impairment displayed the best NDW on the desert-dining time then other three natural situations, and the next were "the free time", "the moving-connection time", and "the parents-children-interaction time". TTR showed no significant difference under the four natural situations.
