Description
Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 應用設計研究所 === 96 === lectrical therapy is a safe and non-invasive physiotherapy without any side effects, and is widely used by hospitals and homes all over the world. The interface between the stimulator and human skin is the Electrotherapeutic Patch. The patch usually causes allergy or uncomfortable to the patients; furthermore, the patch is easily worn down and the cost is high . Therefore, the purpose of this study is to make the conductive fabric electrode, and test its feasibility to replace both electrotherapeutic patches and conductive rubber electrodes sold on the market, and estimate its effect on the waist slimming. The results of this research are: 1. The comparison of electrotherapeutic patches, silver plated fabric electrodes and stainless steel fabric electrodes proves that, under an arid circumstance, the conductive fabric causes higher pain yet with less massage intensity, so it cannot be used to replace electrotherapeutic patches under aridcondition. 2. The pain scale and massage intensity the patients need to stand when using silver plated fabric electrodes and stainless steel fabric electrodes are similar to electrotherapeutic patches and conductive rubber electrodes when water is sprayed and gel is smeared over on all these electrodes, so both silver plated fabric electrodes and stainless steel fabric electrodes could be used to replace electrotherapeutic patches and conductive rubber electrodes under moisture condition. 3. 40 respondents are included in the waist slimming experiment. Group A were using silver plated fabic electrodes, Group B were using conductive rubber electrodes. The therapy was taken twice a week, 45 minutes once and lasted for 6 weeks. The Paired T-Test was used to examine the effects of primary endpoint (girth, BMI value) and secondary endpoint (weight, girth, waist fat thickness, body fat ratio, water ratio, and muscle ratio) in the zero and 6th week. The results between two groups are significant and prove that the electrodes used on both groups can lose waist fat effectively. 4. The conductive fabric electrodes can replace electrotherapeutic patches and conductive rubber electrodes sold on the market with better performance.
