| Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 經濟學研究所(含碩專班) === 96 === The paper aims to the important factors that influence the economic growth with 95 countries data all over the world from 1991 to 2004, especially the relationship among foreign dircet investments, financial development and economic growth. Unlike the empirical analysis people used before with single cross-sections data, the paper analyzes the influence of economic growth with vertical time series .
The result has not only positive effects in relations between financial developments and economic growth or relations between foreign direct investments and economic growth but also robust effects in discussing how foreign investments influence economic growth after financial developments. Accordingly, countries making efforts in financial developments must attract more foreign investments to enhance a country’s economic growth.
