碩士 === 國防大學政治作戰學院 === 新聞研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was using high school students who were joining the Summer Camp 2007 sponsored by the Ministry of National Defense as the research objects to explore their linkages among media uses, satisfaction of activity participation and military image building and to understand how they cognize and construct military image through “Civilian National Defense Education Combat Summer Camp 2007.” Finally, some suggestions were offered from the study work. The survey questionnaire was designed to address three major sets of variables: various demographic control variables (e.g., age, gender, and household income), high school students’ cognition about the military image before joining the Summer Camp 2007 activity, as well as their attitude toward the satisfaction of participating the Summer Camp 2007 activity and military image building after the Summer Camp 2007. By using the software SPSS 12.0 to analyze and predict the results for future purpose on this issue to Ministry of National Defense. The results indicated that: 1. The relationships between high school students’ cognition about the military image before joining the Summer Camp 2007 activity and military image building after the Summer Camp 2007 were significant correlation. 2. The relationships between high school students’ attitude toward the satisfaction of participating the Summer Camp 2007 activity and military image building were also significant correlation.
