Not only did the study discuss these issues, but also the correlations and predictions of the motivations and the barriers of reemployment. It should be very useful as a guide for the authority concerned and all the military education instructors who are going to retire or have retired for a while. This study employs a quantitative method. The respondents are the retired military education instructors who are qualified for the lasting pensions for life-long, with the rank from majors to colonels. From the viewpoints of both the motivations and the barriers of reemployment, exploring problems related to social adaptation of the retired military education instructors. In this survey, it is divided into three dimensions, namely, the motivations of reemployment, barriers of reemployment, and social adaptation. The research findings are briefly drawn as below: 1. When asking about the motivations for reemployment, most veterans agree that the needs of self-actualization is the main reason. 2. On the contrary, most veterans are aware of the fact that the structural barriers are the topmost factor among the various barriers. 3. When it comes to the social adaptation, the recognition of environmental adaptation is in the most important position. 4. There are no significant differences between backgrounds of the retired military education instructors and their motivation of reemployment. 5. The factors such as education, special experts, the careers in the active service, the careers in the schools, the missions of the firms and job positions, appearing in the barriers of reemployment are up to pars of significant differences. 6. The factors such as education, special experts, the careers in the active service, the careers in the schools, the missions of the job positions, and all the pathways for the social adaptation are up to pars of significant differences. 7. The motivations of reemployment are to the extent of low positive correlated to the social adaptation. 8. The barriers of reemployment are to the extent of low negative correlated to the social adaptation. 9.
