碩士 === 實踐大學 === 產品與建築設計研究所 === 96 === Since the Industrial Revolution began, there have been many people inventing robots and those people who invented the robots found it troublesome and bothersome when inventing robots. However, the robots do not disappear but exist in another forms. In our daily life, there are telecommunication products which play the roles as crows and proved people with the entertainment of media; there are also those telecommunication products which play the role as hard-working people and satisfy our basic needs; however, the “crowns” are more friendly and easy to get along with, thus the negative emotion they reveal is not as apparent as which of the” hard-working people”. For example, the emotion of conflicts, that is, the conflicts between the appearance of the products and the environment, the emotion of interference, that is, the bothersome of using the products, and the emotion of risks, that is, the feeling of oppression and intimidation. The characters which the electronic products reveal are extremely obvious and strong, and in the times of soft power, we can use the soft power to reduce the negative emotions which provided by the human between telecommunication products so that human and live in harmonious with products. The soft design is the main point I am going to explain in this thesis, and the marginalized “repeater” is the example which has those three negative emotions. I have been researched and then invented it. Finally I show the repeater in the form of images and discuss if it does reduce the negative emotions and sum it up.
