| Summary: | 碩士 === 實踐大學 === 社會工作學系碩士班 === 96 === The purpoes of this study was to explore the effectiveness of parents support group of children with developmental delay regarding their social support and changing of care method. The study was a triangulation study with multimethod: The quantitative method was adopted to evaluate the effects of social support ; the qualitative method was adopted to analyse the effects of support group intervention. The study was supported by someone of academic medical center in Taipei city. The subjects were selected through purposive sampling. A total of 12 subjects recruited in the study. The format of the group was structured that included 8weekly sessions. Each session lasted for 2 hours were scheduled.
The result revealed that parents support of post-intervention were better than pre-intervention on 3 social support function, 4 items included. And 2 field of the effects of support group intervention were analysed: for parents selves and for children care method.
According to the result of the study, suggestions for future support group practice, and future researches are made too.
