This plant was used for the cholera, the dysentery, and treatment of sore throat in folk medicine. From the methnolic extracts of the branch of this plant, sixteen components were obtained by column chromatography. These compounds are gallic acid(1)、methyl gallate(2)、catechin(3)、epi-catechin(4)、dihydrofisetin(5)、two dimmer of 4-aryldihydrocoumarin(6,7)and stigmast-4-en-3-one(3.97%)(9)and phytosterols (campesterol, 3.51﹪9a、stigmasterol, 7.33﹪9b、β-sitosterol, 66.71﹪9c) were identified by spectrometric and chemical methods. The structure of unknows were elucidated still in progress. two dimmer of 4-aryldihydrocoumarin(6,7), catechin(3),epi-catechin(4),dihydrofisetin(5)were firstly obtained from genus of Pistacia.
