Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 國際企業管理研究所碩士在職專班 === 96 === The interest revenue from revolving credit has been the major revenue resource of the bank issuing credit card. As far as the bank issuing the credit card is concerned, in addition to increase the amount of issuing the credit card and to encourage the card holder’s consumption, it is confirmed that the guarantee and assurance of maintaining the growing revenue is to encourage the card holder using the revolving credit and other loan function.
Different characteristic results in different points of view in terms of investment, financing, or other things. However, the personal characteristic, preference or the choice towards risk will affect people to make different decisions, even to the extend of affecting the willingness and behavior towards using credit card.
This research is to explore the relationship between risk attitude, internal control and external control characteristic, and the willingness of using revolving credit. Through the reference of the indirect references and logic deduction, it is found that the relationship among these three factors has to be further clarified and explained.
The methodology of this research is to use the on-line and also the hard-copy questionnaire and survey, and the people who have used credit cards and cash cards as the main research subjects. There are total 350 sets of questionnaire that primarily aimed at friends, relatives, neighbors, professors, students, and colleagues; 312 sets are returned with total 281 sets of questionnaire valid, which has obtained a rollback rate of 89% after elimination of 31 sets of invalid and unfinished questionnaires.
This result of this research found that there is positive correlation between internal control and external control characteristic and the willingness of using revolving credit. The interference variance of risk attitude presents significant influence to internal control and external control characteristic and the willingness of using revolving credit. Only the moderating effect shows negative correlation. This result is precisely opposite to the hypothetical direction of this research, so the finding is unable to be supported, which indicates when the risk attitude of card holder with external characteristic is inclined to be risk taking, his/her willingness of using revolving credit is accordingly lower
