Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 勞動學研究所 === 96 === Due to the globalization, there is a wave of merge or acquisition to Taiwanese financial industry, and it also involves the existence and the protection of their labor relations. This article focus on the unions merges in Taiwanese financial industry, comparing with SinoPac Holdings (combined with SinoPac Bank and Taipei International Commercial Bank) and Mega Holdings (combined with the Transportation Bank and Chinese International Commercial Bank), analyzing the difference between them and find out the main problems of unions merges in Taiwanese Financial Industry. The conclusions of this article, the problems of unions merges in Taiwanese Financial Industry are legal manipulation. According to Taiwan Labor Union Law, when merge or acquisition happened and leaded to the legal identification of an enterprise changed, the homologous union had to face the legal problems of union merges. Expect for the effect of original collective agreement, the unions have to remember what themselves should do for their members.
