At last, the article will point out the assimilation problems hiding in the majority society and give some suggestions and author’s opinion. In 1960-70s, the Mexican Immigrants fought with the US government for the equal treatment by radical protests and demonstrations. After the 1980s, they were transforming into soft and persuasive ways to attend the purpose of changing the US political phenomenon. The US labor market had been tied on the lower labors from Mexico, till the “911” happened, the US Government suddenly deflated the immigrant’s quota to prevent the invasion of the terrorists and illegal immigrants. According to the research of 2006 by US Population Census, more than 60% of Mexicans immigrants such as poor English , insufficient education achievement , poverty , ambiguity of self identification and discrimination make the Mexicans immigrants hard to melt into the majority. All the above impacts not only upon the Mexican groups but upon the American society. Therefore, the whole Hispanic immigrants started to realize that the anti society movement could not move onto the American political condition, only by gradually getting political knowledge and power, they participated in the national and local official election and cooperated with others, to insure the American society steady and keep Hispanic people’s status progress.
