According to the 921 earthquake buildings harms investigation, discovered that the brick structure buildings makes the most serious damaged. The earthquake resistance ability of the historic listed buildings mainly contributes for its wall structure, The walls easily influenced by the materials’aging or the external forces,causes its earthquake resistance’s lateral stiffness ability weaken,has necessity of the regular monitoring,to prevent them from suddenly collapse.
It already have the precedent to distinguish the changing of the brick wall vibration period by using the ambient vibration measuring technique,but few uses in confirming the historic listed building’s repaired effect.Thus the study subject is brick wall, monitoring a brick wall which is similar the historic listed building walls, executes the man-made external force, carries on the graduation destructive test, observes and records the condition of the structure gradually damaged,proceed to distinguish the changing situation of the brick wall vibration period by using the ambient vibration measuring the at the same time.
After executing the antiqued brick wall destructive test, according to the cultural property preservation law correlating stipulation repair the brick wall, carries on the graduation destructive test and the ambient vibration measuring,to confirms whether the ambient vibration measuring can examine the applicablity of historic listed building’s repaired, effect or not,and confirms the repaired effect of the historic listed building wall at the same time.The research found that the vibration period is 0.099 second before the destructive test, after that, the vibration period rised to 0.111 second,and after the wall repaired,it shortend to 0.086 second.From the change of the vibration period,knew that the stiffness of the wall after repair is superior than the wall before repaired.We could make the wall’s ambient vibration measurement before repair, and then measure again after repaired, to make the initial estimate standard of repaired effect by comparing both.
