Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立聯合大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 96 === The aim of this thesis is to study the question about moving-object detection. We will design a real-time moving-object detection system not only by applying the technology of background subtraction but using DSP chip as well. The main work of this thesis can be summarized as follows. 1. Develop background modeling method and moving-object detection algorithm based on Local Binary Pattern (LBP). 2. Perform MATLAB computer simulation to verify the algorithm. 3. Port the results from MATLAB to TI DSP chip (TMS320DM642). The results of MATLAB simulation show that the LBP theory which we adopt is correct. Furthermore, the results of the DSP implementation show that the system not only can detect the moving object correctly but also can be very practical because of the embedded design.
