Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 96 === Since construction project development usually takes a considerably long time and the process of it involves a range of issues, many domestic construction companies halted their projects when confronting risks by accident. Not knowing what to do, they wait till the problem is eliminated; yet, the cost and time wasted during the process is unknown. The data collection and management of the current report will be focused on construction project risks. When designing a project risk management system, two databases should be built. The main database, on which the system pivots when it runs, supports the saving of each risk-managing function of a construction project. On the other hand, the second database filters the project risk information collected by the main database and save it. It is, thus, considered the risk knowledge storage database. Through such gathering of risk knowledge as well as analysis of it, it will be able to provide the other new projects of the outcome as a reference. With such circulation, the knowledge of project risk will accumulate and keep being modified which will then improve the effectiveness of project risk management and enrich it with time, helping construction companies setting up their own frame of project risk knowledge.
