The material of nanophotocatalyst is advanced, healthy, natural and effective, which not only has no side effect but also suppresses the bacterium in the environment. Both high-hydroxide and Superoxide free radicals are produced by TiO2 through the exposure of the visible light in the environment of oxygen and water. These free radicals damage the cell membrane of the bacterium and result in the elimination of the bacterium. Therefore, the elimination improves indoor air quality.
This researcher sprayed the photocatalyst on the surface of the tiles and the chinaware in the lavatory, to reduce the quantity of the bacterium. The antibacterium effects of the nanophotocatalyst were further explored after strengthening the Photocatalytic reaction through the exposure of the visible light. Afterward used mechanism of the air circulation and tested by the active photocatalyst. At the first stage, the antibacterium rate was 78.75% after the application photocatalyst. At the second stage, the antibacterium rate was 83.33% after the lavatory was increased illumination. At the third stage, the antibacterium rate was 83.45% with the improvement of ventilation. At the last stage, the antibacterium rate was 84.14% with the apparatus of active photocatalyst. These experiments proved that the photocatalyst is able to adjust application to reach the best antibacterium effect in accordance with the bacterium rate of environment.
The purpose of researching and developing the scientific and technological material is to enhance the quality of life.It has been proved in this research that the photocatalyst has the antibacterium effect in the lavatory. Besides, this conclusion is merited popularization in the indoor public place to offer better environment.
