The Research for Industrial Purchasing Decision–A Case Study of the Paper Machine Equipment

碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 管理研究所 === 96 === The Paper Machine is the main equipment and one of the most expensive facilities in the paper industry. The combination of difference segments inside the paper machine directly affects the operation ability, hence the quality of the future products. Consequently, how to choose the right paper machine influences the market competition significantly. Due to the various internal and external factors which could influence the purchase decision, there is no specific and exact rule to obey when selecting the paper machine. In this research, solutions of how to choose the right paper machine are generated by professional paper makers with AHP, Analytic Hierarchy Process, by which the purchase factors could be constructed during the analysis process selecting four criterions in level two and eleven alternatives in level three. According to the questionnaire results, there are five main influences as below. First, high-low analysis of economic benefits. Second, high-low of automation and integrates. Third, time in of spare parts and cost. Forth, high –low run ability and optimum of furnish. Last, high-low quality of paper grade. On the other hand, over capacity of productivity, potential design for the future expansion, co-enterprise evaluation and merit and original manufacture of paper machine have relatively lower weights in the research. In summary, we got the same conclusion in real purchase of Shang Hai Chung Loong Paper Co., Ltd. Thus we can apply the research conclusion in the actual purchase of paper machine of Shang Hai Chung Loong Paper Co., Ltd. We hope that the influence factors concluded from the research could help buyers when purchasing the paper machine.
