| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 96 === The main purpose of this thesis is to analysis electrical appliance energy efficiency and to develop dwelling electric energy consumption assessment program. The energy efficiency analysis was focus on the popular electrical appliances in Taiwan. The energy efficiency of major dwelling electrical appliances in Taiwan was moderately understood based on the data collected and some data by field measuring, and then a dwelling electric energy consumption assessment program was developed. Visual Basic with friendly and window-based man-machine interface was adopted as the major developing tool. The utilization characteristic and daily load curve of each appliance in a dwelling unit can be easily taken into account. Hence, a more accurate assessment of dwelling electrical consumption and system loss for a day, a month, or a whole year of a dwelling unit can be obtained. In addition, the effectiveness of energy-saving by changing the applied electrical appliance and/or the utilization time can be assessed by the program developed in this thesis. This assessment program will be of value to the promotion of the high efficiency appliances and the energy conservation policy of government.
