By adjusting the different light weighting of fluorescent lamps, one is able to develop an illuminant which will produce a light vission very similar to natural daylight. The research uses the color-of-gravity law of color mixture to calculate the flux weights for different fluorescent lamps. Based on the calculation results, a digital signal processor (DSP) was adopted to modulate the dc-voltage of dimming electronic ballast to get different weights. A protocal type illuminant was constructed and measured by digital lighting measuring equipment to evaluate and certify the practice of the algorithm proposed. The results showed the effectiveness of CCT correction technique for lighting environment and were valuable for developing a more friendly comfortable illuminment.
