Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 96 === Load characteristics of harmonic and unbalance can not be expressed in the traditional ways which only considered the fundamental and three-phase balanced sinusoidal conditions. This thesis uses the formula of six power factors and the calculation values will be different considering the characteristics of load. This thesis utilizes Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA (XC3S1500 - 4FG676) developing platform to implement the calculation methods of power factors. This thesis only discussed the effective power factor, the arithmetic power factor and the fundamental power factor because the capacity of the chip is not enough. Hardware Description Language (VHDL) is programmed and the Intellectual Property (IP) is used, and moreover ModelSim is used to simulate the calculation of power factors to ensure the accuracy of timing and function. Finally, practical measurement data were used to verify the calculation methods of power factors.
