| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 96 === This thesis uses the S3C2410 processer as platform, a product of the korean company samsung’s ARM920T as the CPU’s processer, with the combination of the TTS(Text-to-speech) technique and MPLAYER, developing into a set of English learning player. With a touch of the screen, you may listen to English MP3、watch English short movies, and English short conversations. This thesis includes the software transplant and hardware system Embedded-LINUX, with freedom softwave QT to write window interface. The Embedded system in the English learning player provides 40 songs, 8 of which their English singers can be selected. The short conversations also provide 8 different daily life situation, and each come with 5 different short sentences. As for the short movies section, the player provides 3 films. With this 3 functions, I hope this project can bring out your greatest help on learning English.
