However, it might make impact on the company or corporation due to large amounts of failures. According to the papers of scholars and specialists, I found the key factors for the IT outsourcing from theory. Along with the case study, I drew conclusions on differences between the theory and the real cases. This study is based on insurance industry, including 5 key factors, the contractor, contractee, contract, the relationship and values of contractor and cotnractee, and project management.To conclude these factors, I sum up 3 key factors, project team characters(contractor and contractee), project characters (contract) and project management characters ( cooperation between contract and contractee and project management). This paper might provide a reference for the insurance industry, which may help reduce the risks in IT outsourcing, while raising the rate of success so that the goal of the company can be well achieved.
