Knowledge has become the critical core capital for enterprises. Enhancing corporate value through Knowledge Management (KM) effectively is a key issue in practices and academics. One of the crucial subjects related to KM is to design an appropriate IT-based KM performance evaluation system for enterprises. When KM performance evaluation is carried out, apart from environmental uncertainty and difficult to quantify evaluation criteria, it often brings ambiguity occurred by human subjectivity. Therefore, performance evaluation model of knowledge management is proposed in this study by combining Fuzzy Theory and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). And performance evaluation structure of knowledge management is used intellectual capital theory. The research s of intellectual capital as categories of “human capital”, “process capital”, “innovative capital”, “relationship capital”, and “marketing capital”. In order to improve KM performance evaluation, this study develops an on-line performance evaluation management system based on this model is to measure the KM results of knowledge intensive organizations. Finally, we adopt a case study to confirm the benefits derived from this system. Several conclusions were found in this study:(1) This system is helpful to simplify KM evaluation process; (2) This system is useful to deal with unstructured decision problems in performance evaluation; (3) It is helpful to accumulate organizational memory effectively; and (4) This system provides company executives with practical references for decision-making.
