Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 自動化及控制研究所 === 96 === Due to the characteristics of a LED, (Light Emitting Diodes), such as long lifetime, low energy consumption, and no pollution etc, LED panel is massively utilized to the large-scale full color display systems, traffic lights and city illumination. However, the brightness and the chromaticity uniformity quality of a LED panel had directly decided the display quality of a full color display systems. Inside each LED module, the brightness and wavelength of each LED dot (also is called pixel) may have the trifle difference. In order to make up this kind of difference, two methods are usually selected. The first method is to select the matched or screened LEDS. The second method is to design a driver IC. with the brightness compensation for each pixel in LED module. This study focused on how to choose the process parameters of a LED,which includes the LED brightness, the wavelength . In addition to of a 16x16 LED module were studied in ambient temperature(25℃) of optical characteristics. The Taguchi Experimental Method was used to obtain the LED brightness and the wavelength the parameter optimization and enhance the optical uniformity by of a LED module. From the experiment of results, the display uniformity of a 8x16 LED color module, which uniformity was 72.45%, has been enhanced to 86.77%. Therefore, this method may improve the performance of a large-scale LED display systems.
