Thereafter, the student’s own background is taken as the dependent variable, and the performing achievements is taken as the codependent variable for the student to answer the study’s second pending question. At least, the student’s contest-participating motive taken as he dependent variable and the performing achievements is taken as he codependent variable for the student to answer the study’s third pending question. The research tool has been the learning motive quantitative measurement table for Taipei junior high dance class students to participate in dance contests the content of the quantitative measurement table is divided into the basic data, and contest-participating learning motive measurement table. The stud adopts the questionnaire surveying method and a total of 310 questionnaires have been distributed, and 293 recalled, of which upon deducting five invalid questionnaires, a total of 288 valid questionnaires have been derived, or at a recall ratio of 93.03%. The recalled valid samples are put through, according to the research objective and validation hypotheses, a variety of statistical methods, i.e. the descriptive statistics, item analysis, explorative factor analysis independent sample test, independent sample single-factor variable analysis, Sheffield post-event comparison, classic relevancy, to conduct data analysis in order to analyze he correlations among he various dependent and codependent variables, he variations of dependent variables to codependent variables, and the impact of various dependent variables to codependent variables. The findings revealed that Taipei junior high dace class students’ participating in the national dance contests:
1. Different sex, study grade, yearly experience and different study regions show no
apparent diversity upon learning motivation of participating dance competition.
2. Different sex shows apparent diversity upon performing achievement.
