In Chapter 1, the course of Western art serves as reference in exploring issues related to the nature of blocks and materials used in his works in order to propose the effects of altered Western art ideology have on him. In Chapter 2, Ho’s aesthetic ideologies are discussed to depict the intrinsic contents of metaphysics. In Chapter 3, the work expression and lexical use are analyzed to discover the contents and intrinsic implications, which exploit the meaning of life in nature. In Chapter 4, the 2001 “Pond (Shuitang)” work series are discussed to further find out directions and spatial issues different from the past. Finally, it is concluded that Ho’s abstract sculpture is the outcome of integration and expansion of Eastern and Western art ideologies. 劉柏村 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 102 zh-TW
