I deeply love rainfall, especially the frame of mind of being in the middle of the rain. I deeply love rainfall because it is hazy and vital, and because it could link the boundless sky and the boundless ground. The author takes rainfall as the theme to do the research. Being in the middle of the rain, the infinite emotions will appear gloriously on the paper. While creating rain scenery, the author also takes the rain as the lead. The paper construction divides into six chapters and an appendix. The first chapter is “Introduction”, which narrates motive, goal, content and method of this research. The second chapter is “Discussion rainfall from the meteorology”. This chapter discusses the formation, category and characteristics of rainfall from the meteorological theory. Moreover, it investigates the relationship between cloud and rain from the change of cloud layer. The third chapter is “Discussion the literature of rainfall”. This chapter discusses rain scenery paintings, rain scenery poetic conceptions and rain scenery pictures of all previous dynasties, attempting to arrange the theory foundation of the rain scenery creation from the literature inquisition. The fourth chapter is “Creation thought of rain scenery paintings”. This chapter explores the frame of mind of being in the middle of the rain, and then uses the shape to depict the spirit. The fifth chapter is “Creation process and analysis”. Its key point is narrating the author’s creation process and analysis of rain scenery pictures. The sixth chapter is “Conclusion”. This chapter summarizes the achievement of the present stage of the research, hoping that we will have better performance in the rain scenery creation in the future. The appendix is 153 rain scenery pictures of all previous dynasties and 39 related comments collected by the author. By collecting and discussing literature, this research looks forward to using modern elements and life subjects to carry out the innovation of rain scenery paintings.
