The artists express themselves by painting; their works reflect what they see and how they feel. Through paintings, the audiences also experience the psychological activities which art can develop. Either the form of beauty or mind is regarded as an activity in capable of raising spiritual level. The thesis is comprised of six chapters. Chapter 1 highlights the motivation, purpose, methodology and limitation of the research. Chapter 2 develops the concept on the basis of relevant literature review. Chapter 3 analyzes the idea of painting in detail, focusing on the content and the form in sources of the researcher’s art works. Chapter 4 explores the issues of materials and techniques. With regard to the idea of this study, eight art works are selected and a number of insights to each piece are provided in Chapter 5. The final chapter is the conclusion. The thesis is focusing on “the human’s body” which is regarded as the vehicle of connecting inner world through extending and bending the figure.
