Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 身心整合與運動休閒管理學系 === 96 === This research was aimed to comprehend the basic badminton athletic coaches’ professional present situation and demanded degrees and explore the differences among the coaches with different background variables in professional present situation and demanded degrees. This research was made by the analyses of related documents and papers and a general questionnaire survey on basic coaches’ professional present situation and demanded degrees. This questionnaire contains respondents’ basic information and their professional competence scale. The professional competence scale consists of “The management of the movement injury handling and the team”, “Badminton technical training and tactical utilization”, “Badminton training related scientific theory” and “Badminton movement origin and development”. The research took 264 coaches working at elementary and junior high schools in Taiwan as the targets. 187 papers were collected totally, 70.8% of the 264 questionnaire papers delivered, and analyzed the data and information through "the descriptive statistic ", "T-Test", "One-Way Anova". The conclusions of the research are as following:
1.Most of the basic badminton coaches are male PE teachers with a bachelor’s degree. Their ages are among 30-39. Most of them have 1-5 year working experience, and get the coaching credential of National B Grade. Before being a coach, most of them were on county or city badminton teams.
2.Generally speaking, the basic badminton coaches are equipped with professional competence. The order of importance of the four aspects above in their eyes is “Badminton technical training and tactical utilization”, “The management of the movement injury handling and the team”, “Badminton movement origin and development” and “Badminton training related scientific theory”. However, the demanded degree of the basic badminton coaches’ professional competence is “Badminton technical training and tactical utilization”, “The management of the movement injury handling and the team”, “Badminton training related scientific theory” and “Badminton movement origin and development”.
3.There were no significant differences in the qualification of professional competence among the badminton coaches with different gender, education levels, ages or working experience. But the significant differences exist among them with different duties or ranks of coaching license, in different service units and what kinds of players when they were young.
4.There were no significant differences in the demanded degree of professional competence among the badminton coaches with different gender, education levels, ages, working experience, ranks of coaching license and what kinds of players when they were young. Nevertheless, the differences are significant among the coaches with different duties and in different service units.
