Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中技術學院 === 多媒體設計研究所 === 96 === There are several navigation equipments in most public places now, such as the Taipei MRT road map, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts of the pavilion Map and amusement parks…etc. The users’ control this digital interactive equipment through the keyboard, mouse and other input devices, however, users may easily acquired infections by touching these input devices. Based on the demand of public health, the purpose of this study is to design an interactive navigation tool that users don’t need to touch it, and this tool uses a low-cost camera as a major interactive interface.
This study first discusses the visual capacity of the text legibility, and then to do the interface basic research about head control devices, face tracking and other related technology. In preliminary test, the collection of user visibility of the text, face width data, the screen speed data, and then use those data as the basis for post-test. This study designs the assistant tool by controlling the head in the later period of the test. For example of the pavilion map of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, This study measure 20 subjects to proceed with the usability test. The evaluation method adopts Logging Actual use, Interviews and Questionnaires.
This study discovers that the operation by horizontal moving is easier than the vertical moving of the tool. Besides, the users control this tool well that approach the screen, left it, and horizontal moving. The most users can only need brief instructions to use this tool.
