With the trend of merger and internationalization, the financial institutions run the financial business broadly and flexibly and lead the bank affairs becoming the best competitive among the banks. Domestic merger and acquisition activities is base on the trend of development for the larger commercial bank and to become universal banking. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the competitive advantages and performance of〝Wealth-Management〞business model in Taiwan. According to the conclusions of the study, the directions of future development of 〝Wealth Management〞business can sum up as follows: 1.Improve the financial regulations, to set up a free financial market. 2.To offer the favourable supplementary measure of various kinds of taxes,to introduce foreing financial institutions and high end professional people into Taiwan market. 3.Raise the input of R&D in financial field. 4.Acclerate merger of the financial institutions, to pursue the occupation rate of market. 5.To promote the financial internationalization. 6.Strengthen the S.I.(System Integration) and I.T.(Information Technology) of financial system. 7.To build up Taiwan becomes international financial center.
