The main creation method used in this research is “Hot Glass“.This is done using a metal rod to roll up molten glass inside the crucible and apply various kinds of shaping process such as pulling or molding in a short period of time. The glass undergoes a process of high temperature heat treatment and constantly spinning to find a center point closely resembles the circumstance of facing challenges in the author’s life. The author also finds a correlation between glass and life while tearing and pressing the molten glass. These findings further trigger her to pay close attention to the motif of soil and maternity. In brewing the “Fireworks of Life” series, the author’s native thought came from fireworks, which serves double meaning:the splendid images and the sudden but brilliant starburst.Using soil as the general direction of art creation blended with travel observations, rich contents, the spirit and artistic desire of pursuing glass art.The author makes use of the integration of light, vegetation, sand and water to manifest the annotation of environment and life, then uses these elements to recreate and construct an atmosphere of soil and maternity. Furthermore,to find the life contexts from personal or others experiences,to probe into the phenomenons and forces that support life growth and to regard as a record of the complete life cycle. The author wishes these information and experiences can provide some helpful thoughts and methods to glass art lovers and further help to bloom a new breakthrough and aspect in integrating object and installation art.
