The main purpose of this study is to investigate the viewing motivation toward the TV program about fashion and beauty, the factors in personal professional image shaping on the TV program about fashion and beauty, and the relationship between the viewing motivation and personal professional image shaping on the TV program where people share their tacit knowledge with others. The research method of this study is questionnaire survey. The first part is to understand the viewing behavior of the TV program viewers. The second part is to examine the viewing motivation. The third part is to analyze the viewers’ cognition of the tacit knowledge and the concept of profession within the TV program. The forth part is about personal profiles of the viewers. The main results reveal as follows: (1)The primary viewing motivation is about information gathering. (2)The professional image of the instructors on the TV program mostly comes from their rich related experiences. (3)A highly positive correlation with significance exists between the viewing motivation and the recognition of professional image of the instructors on the TV program.
