Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 96 === The study is to explore the four elements of ARCS motivational mode proposed by Professor John M. Keller, the integrated method of information technology, and the design strategy of reading instruction. We explore the practical process, difficulty, and resolving method in the study. Also we analyze the students' attitude toward studying and the changing of reading motivation. The teachers will be promoted in professional growing for teaching and set up the practical knowledge. The study could be expected that the teachers have some enlighten effect on designing teaching strategy, promoting reading ability for student, and studying motivation.
The conclusions for studying result:
1. Develop on the strategy of reading teaching based on ARCS motivational mode, and it can help teachers to design vivacious and diversified reading activity lesson.
2. Apply information technology in ARCS motivational mode to develop the strategy of reading teaching and need to estimate the possibility for applying different strategies seriously.
3. Introduce ARCS motivational mode and information technology into reading teaching, and change the students' attitude for studying certainly.
4. Introduce ARCS motivational mode and information technology into reading teaching, and promote the students' reading motivation certainly.
5. Practice the active studying on introducing ARCS motivational mode and information technology into reading teaching. It can promote the teachers' reflective ability and help the teachers' professional growing.
Finally, based on the results mentioned above, the study that is separately proposed some substantive proposals in the aspects of teaching applying for teachers and follow-up studying in the future can be referenced.
