Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 96 === Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of track and field training for elementary school children in movement coordination ability. Method: The subjects are a group of sixty-four fifth grades. They are randomly divided into two study groups. One is the experient group and the other is the control group. The experient group receives ten weeks of track and field training, while the control group doesn’t receive any training. Both groups are tested with movement coordination ability, including one foot stand with eyes closed, dribble zigzag running, cylinder casting and hard tennis throwing. We test the movement coordination ability of both groups to find the differences by using independent sample t-test. Then we investigate the differences of pre-test and post-test of the experient group in movement coordination ability by using correlated sample t-test. The statistical value of significant difference is set at α=.05. Results: 1.The experient group gained a significant improvement in movement coordination ability after receiving the ten weeks of track and field training (P <.05),while the control group was not significantly improved (P >.05). 2.There are significant difference in movement coordination ability of both groups after the study (P <.05) . Conclusion: Ten weeks of track and field training can improve the movement coordination ability of elementary school children.
