Abstract
This research object is based on" foreign spouse adult education material in Taoyuan county". The research analyzes the construction of the teaching material unit, the exercise, the teacher handbook and the Chinese and English handbook. Through this research, we can understand the content and form of teaching material and cultural connotation.
This research mainly uses the content analytic method to analyze the construction of teaching material unit, the exercise and the teacher handbook and so on.
This research provides some suggests of arranging foreign spouse education material in Taoyuan County by using the collection and analyzing methods. The research conclusion is as following.
a) arranging by teaching unit
b) lively unit content
c) presenting the unit subject by pictures and words
d) emphasizing the literate teaching.
e) respecting the multicultural
f) emphasizing the local cultural
g) providing the exercise paper for evaluation
h) providing the teacher handbook
i) providing the multimedia assisting material
According to the conclusion, this research provides the following suggests.
First, the policy aspect:
a) establishing the assisting network for foreign spouse
b) supplying the great infant nurture system
c) adding the study channel for improving foreign spouse’s learning will
d) adding the foreign spouse teachers regularly
e) increasing the budget for low level foreign spouse family
f) establishing numerous immigration centers for learning
g) founding the material researching organization for improving the
content
Second, the teaching aspect:
a) holding the symposium of Foreign Spouses Literate Class
regularly for understanding the material content
b) combining the local cultural to the material for arising the
learning effect
c) using the multicultural education way
Third, the material aspect:
a) utilizing the phonetic symbol for set up the self-study ability of
foreign spouse
b) arising the effect of literate education by adding characters
used in the frequency table and strengthening the word
election procedures
c) enhancing the quantity of verbal in material
d) augmenting the content and mode in material
e) increasing the different kinds of subjects
f) contrasting the teacher book and material perfectly
g) contrasting the Chinese and English handbook and the material
content perfectly

Fourth, follow-up research
The aspects of foreign spouse education are very extensive. This research’ object is focused on the Taoyuan county, however, there are a lot of foreign spouse education aspects which are desired to be research, such as the model, the organization of curriculum, the sale tactic and the research of organization. We can research these subjects extensively and get the comprehension completely in order to ameliorate the education materials.
