Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育心理與諮商學系碩士班 === 96 === ABSTRACT In this paper, the researcher looks at a mother’s life story and mufti-female roles through a mother’s personal narrative. The researcher used phenomenological analysis method to analyze data from interviews. The researcher herself brings with her own past memory and experience, at the same time, also to base on the curiosity and concern for her mother, she invited her mother to narrate on her life experience and how to think about female. Before entering this research, the researcher reviewed as a daughter, how she thinks about her mother and herself. Then, being a researcher, she listens to a mother’s life story and tries to find the understanding. The story follows by the pulsation of time, which is formed by certain epiphany within the structure of three-dimensional narrative inquiry spaces. Furthermore, to discover and discuss through the “holistic-content” method of analysis, followed by the life story, and according to the sequence to mark out the important “theme” then to follow by discussions. The discussion including: One, See again of life story, and Two, mufti-female roles. According to the interviews, it is found that: How the mother expresses the marital viewpoint of her own, under the family and social-culture. The mother’s attitudes, feelings and point of view about female are most influenced by her families’ educations and parents’ personal demonstrations. We also can find the mother’s points of view; observations and attitudes toward female have once been converted. At the end of this study, the researcher shows how she find herself from this research, how she find the understanding to her mother, and discover meanings in their lives. Empathy and understanding enter into this research also change their relationship. The researcher also hopes to provide the reader with another kind of reference during the course of reading.
