This study used self-developed questionnaires to collect the data. There were 400 educators in this survey, including teachers, directors, principals in Kin-men country. This study data were analyzed by Descriptive Statistic, Chi-Square Test, Independent Sample t-test, One-way ANOVA and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results were as follows: 1. They satisfied with the system of principal selection, but hoping correlative problems will be solved. 2. They approved the system of principal selection, but not denying some negative issues. 3. In the problem and issue of the principal selection option, they were different attitude in gender, educational background, working years, working school, duty in school, school size and the experience in respectively. For example: (1)The people who graduated by 40 credits of post-graduate curriculum thought the most suitable number of principal-selection committee was 9 to 11, but others thought it should be 11 to 13. (2)The sample who worked more 26 years considered the number of school teachers’ organization in principal-selection committee needn’t change, and the other option was that the school teachers’ organization of local level just only one teacher in the committee. (3)The sample who worked in elementary school thought the representative ratio of principal-selection committee at present was suitable, and this was different from workers in junior high school. 4. The sample who worked in elementary school were more identified with principal-selection function and criteria than those in junior high school. The retired principals were more identified with principal-selection evaluation than teachers, directors, and principals. 5. SEM indicated that there were negative significantly correlation between principal-selection function and evaluation, but there were positive correlation between principal-selection function and criteria. 張芳全 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 152 zh-TW
