Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 機械與機電工程學系 === 96 === The purpose of this thesis is to apply flexible tool fixtures with different stiffnesses to the machining of aluminum alloys in order to understand the effect of the structural stiffness on the turning process. We use the finite element method for the structural analysis of flexible fixtures and then use the RP machine to manufacture them.
Experiments are performed by using three flexible fixtures with different stiffnesses. The results show that when the feed is greater than 0.08 mm/rev and the cutting speed is less than 170 m/min, fixtures with lower stiffnesses perform better than fixtures with higher stiffnesses. The spectrum analysis shoe that the machining vibration is closely related to the nature frequencies of the flexible fixture.
