碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 教育研究所 === 96 === Abstract This research aimed to explore the status of the primary school teachers’ attitudes and behaviors toward the marine environmental protection. The questionnaire survey was used and took stratified random samples from primary school teachers in Kee-lung City. The study results were as follows : Firstly, the attitudes and behaviors of the marine environmental protection, had significant differences in gender, but not in age, service seniority and experiences of participation in marine educational Seminar. Secondly, teachers seldom showed with self-interest attitudes toward marin environmental protection, but with ecocentric or anthropocentric values had positive and proenvironmental attitudes toward marine environment. Thirdly, there was significant correlation between marine environmental protection attitudes and behaviors from primary school teachers in Kee-lung city. It was showed the better marine environmental protection attitude, the more positive behavior toward the environmental protection. Finally, the marine environmental protection attitude with high scores showed better marine environmental protection behavior than the attitude with low scores.
