In the meantime, global container carriers try to enlarge the territories of cooperation among themselves that prevails the alliance strategy over liner shipping. According to the outcome of researches in container shipping for past years, alliance is the rapid way to expand the service scope of container shipping and it’s adopted by container carriers widely. After gathering, generalizing & compiling the relative documents of container carriers in intra Asia, the measurements of alliance have been made up in this thesis. A deep interview was carried out later. The alliance strategic map in Asia was drawn up in the wake of consulting the expert’s opinions and questionary investigation from shipping people. This thesis aims to provide solutions of alliance scope in four structures to the carriers which shall meet the requirements of development in Asia alliance as following: 1. Financial structure: (1) Diversifying (2) Promoting the ability of risk management (3) Carrying out company’s resource planning (4) Increasing the control ability of finance & operatio cost 2. Customer structure: (1) Setting up e-commerce (2) Heaving tailor-made & intermodal container transportation service (3) Customer relation management (4) Adding global service offices 3. Internal procedure structure: (1) Developing new service & increasing the density of service schedule (2) Setting up SOP (3) Going along immediate data control system (4) Composing strategic alliance(long term) 4.
