Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 圖文傳播學系 === 96 === Use of Non-Linear Editing (NLE) has been the standard process in this field with the prevailing in computing and digitalizing of films. While elevating production efficiency, it is still necessary to obtain rough cut of the recorded films according to the shoot log as an initial step. To obtain an initial reference film, takes and scenes are cut in sequential according to the shoot log after deleting useless NG ones, which is time consuming and laborious. To improve this, adequate capture points and time codes are arranged by NLE software with various XML program frames and editing modes, then a complete image sequence file is automatically produced therefrom, which step has not yet been seen in current rough cut process. The object of this study is to establish a working process for XML rough cut conformed to the shoot log, which is capable of producing an initial reference film through capturing and rearranging. The measure to complete this study is based on experimental method by using Apple Xcode to convert text format of the shoot log, via programs obtained from experiments, into XML file format available for NLE. A shoot log is picked from database, which is then subjected to experiments processing with conventional and XML rough cut to obtain operation duration. The elevation of efficiency is decided based on the saving of time.
