Moreover, this research focuses include the current and future technologies to save energy, the method of promoting education to save energy, and the challenges of promotion saving energy in the elementary school campus. We sent out 115 questionnaires to 115 elementary schools, and recollected 84 questionnaires in which 81 are valid. The summary of the research is as following: 1.) Methods of saving energy in the elementary schools. The participant schools shall consider efficacy of electric equipments and voltage design in the aerator design and power-consuming circuit plan. The general saving energy equipments shall have the function of dormancy and purchase in accordance with the GREEN Purchase Act of Taiwan. In addition schools shall set sun-shading board, use high efficacy lighting equipment, and purchase air condition equipments in accordance with the GREEN Purchase Act of Taiwan. The methods of saving energy is that setting the air-condition between 26℃ to 28℃, using auto switch function, maintaining air-condition timely, and replacing old lighting equipment to new one in accordance with space and energy management. 2.) The current situation of energy education in the elementary schools. In the elementary schools, each department practices energy saving and energy education through their own work. The energy education is usually involved in the sustainable campus project and infused in the subject of nature and life technology. The contents of energy education are mainly to introduce the method of saving energy, the basic knowledge of energy and alternative energy. 3.) The challenges of performing saving energy in elementary schools: The shortage of budget, and without professional's help and knowledge are the major challenges for elementary schools to promote energy saving and energy education. 4.) The possible plans of saving energy and energy education which will be implemented in elementary schools: The participant school authorities indicate that they will build up an energy management team; seek professional assists, and promote energy education in the elementary school campus with the consideration of the efficacy of saving energy, education purpose, and convenient carrying out.
