Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 體育學系在職進修碩士班 === 96 === The present research looks at the surfing participant involvement in the free-flowing experience and Recreational Cognitive Freedom. The present research is conducted through the questionnaire method for data collection and analysis. Research subjects are surfers located at the Northeast coastline of Taiwan, where the samples are filtered through purposive sampling. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, explorative factor analysis, validation, single factor analysis of dual variance, Scheffe’s Method of comparison with typical correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Key conclusions are as follows: (I) Test subject background variance towards their involvement include: self-variance such as level of education and occupation indicates the significant diversity in questionnaire response; variances such as gender, marital status, personal income etc. indicate partial diversity; whereas age of the test subject indicates insignificant diversity. (II) Test subject background variances on the surfer free-flowing experience include: self-variances such as gender, age, level of education, occupation, marital status, and personal income, resulting in partial diversity from the questionnaire responses. (III) There exists a typical correlation between the surfer involvement and the free-flowing experience. (IV) There exists a positive influence by the involvements on the recreational cognitive freedom. In conclusion, the present research submits the following recommendation: research subjects can be expanded to the Southern or Eastern Taiwan coastline for comparison between variation of locality. The main target of the research can be channeled towards athletics tourism to not only increase the surfing population, but also support the tourism promotion project as proposed by the government.
