Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 教育學系在職進修碩士班 === 96 === Through questionnaire survey, the purpose of this study was to explore the status and the difference of the relationship between principals' transformational leadership and job satisfaction of school staffs in secondary schools in Taipei County. Based on the conclusions of this study, some recommendations were made for the authorities of education, secondary school’s principals and future study. The study used the survey of “principals’ transformational leadership and job satisfaction of school staffs” which was targeted for school staffs in 74 secondary schools in Taipei County. Totally 483 questionnaires were issued and 430 effective questionnaires were reclaimed. The statistical methods used to analyze the data were average, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The conclusions of the study are as below: 1. The state of principals’ transformational leadership in secondary schools in Taipei County is acceptable. 2. The state of job satisfaction of school staffs is from “partly satisfactory” to “mostly satisfactory”. 3. There are no significant differences among gender, marital status, academics degree, job, seniority and school scale for principals’ transformational leadership. 4. There are significant differences among age and school pattern for principals’ transformational leadership. 5. There are no significant differences among gender, marital status, academics, job, school scale and school pattern for job satisfaction of school staffs. 6. There are significant differences among age and seniority for job satisfaction of school staffs. 7. There are significant correlations between the perception of school staffs for principals’ transformation leadership and the job satisfaction.
