Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 行政管理學系文化與自然資源管理組碩士班(95 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the elementary school teachers’global knowledge in Tainan City and analyzed the advice of global education. The study was conducted by questionnaires in the base of the documentary analysis,taking the Elementary School teachers in Tainan City as study objects. The total samples handed out were 282. Among them, 212 questionnaires were collected and 24 questionnaires were usable. So the rates of collection and usableness were 75.18% . Statistical analysis used descriptive statistics, t-test and One-way ANOVA. The major findings of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) The global knowledge gained by the Elementary School Teachers was pass , but still much more to improve ,especialy the recogition of differance culture and the global issue . (2) The result of global knowledge questionnaires showed that there were significant distinctions among different qualification ; however, there were no large distinctions among different school region,school scale, seniority, gender, age, and source of information . (3)Though the elementary school teachers supported different advice on global education ,most of them could not over emphasis the importance of it. Finally, the researcher makes some suggestions to teacher training institutions, elementary school teachers, refresher course institutions, and brought up suggestions for future research.
